The very well known Sinarback 54H is the heart of this versatile equipment for, fashion, people, nature, architectural photography and moving subjects. With its 4-shot capability it is well-suited for perfect still-life photographs with perfect colors, and with its 16-shot capability the Sinarback 54 H also provides fine detail rendition. In the 1-shot mode (for action photographs), in the 4-shot mode (for still life) and in the 16-shot mode (for the highest possible detail resolution), Sinarback 54 produce images that are needle-sharp, with faithful color rendition. To safeguard optimal results, the CCD sensor used in the Sinarback 54 H is cooled thermo-electrically and by a fan. The unique Hardware Anti-Moire function of the Sinarback 54 H even makes it possible to render critical action shots with delicate patterns faithfully. With the multi-shot digital back, Sinar makes perfected micro-scanning possible: The sensor is shifted with the highest precision by half the width of a pixel in 16 exposures, so that the spaces between the sensor's pixels are also recorded. Like the 4-shot technique and unlike the 1-shot technique, micro-scanning produces complete color information for every pixel. By means of the four-fold data information available from a single exposure, the resolution can again be increased significantly. The back also has a very good Live View function, which lets you easily determine crop and exposure. The Sinarback 54 H can be adapted to virtually all medium format cameras. This eliminates the limitation to a specific camera system. To change the camera, all the photographer needs to do is to change adapter plates. That makes it possible to achieve the maximum resolution of more than 22 million pixels with most modern medium format cameras practically without the need for increased focal lengths. In the configuration here, the back is mounted on a Sinar P2 and a Sinar Macroscan with a Hasselblad V adapter, which means that you can easily move the back from the Sinar P2 to a Hasselblad body without any further changes. When using the macroscan in 16 shot mode, you will get a picturefile of 500 Mb in 8 bit or 1 Gb in 16 bit. The shutter is the Sinarcam 2 for use with lenses mounted on DB boards. If you have questions you are welcome to contact me, or search the internet where you will find a lot of information about both the back and the P2 camera. This is a part of my studio equipment and one of three similar stations. As I am downsizing the studio I only need two stations, which is the reason for selling this one. Every part is in perfectly working condition, carefully used in studio, never outside. It is sold in this condition but with no future guarantees and with a returnpolicy only if I in any way have misleaded you about the condition or function of any of the parts. I you are uncertain of something, ask me questions and I will answer as precise as I can. You are of course welcome to see and test the equipment in my studio if you have the opportunity. OBS! the Hasselblad 503 body in the pictures is not a part of this auction! After the auction ends we can decide about shipment, what you prefer. Payment in advance via PayPal, or if you live in Europe, directly to my bank account.
