Leica M4 Black Enamel, Leitz Canada Summicron f2 35mm, Leica Meter MR & Leica Lens Hood You are bidding on my personal M4 Camera System. This is a No Reserve Auction and is a rare opportunity to acquire one of these gems. I purchased this camera in 1973 from a friend who had just returned from Vietnam and needed the cash. I am pretty sure he purchased the camera in late 1969 or early 1970 as he said he had the camera for 3 years. This was my primary camera for 3 decades. She has been to the US Leica Service Center twice for cleaning and calibration. Lens is clean, no fungus or coating issues. Body is mechanically sound. All shutter speeds appear to be working accurately. I have not used the meter in some time and the PX-13 battery appears to have been discontinued. It was working fine the last time I used it. You are bidding on a used Sony PMW-EX1 XDCAM with many extras. This camera is simply fantastic and is in excellent working condition. If you are looking to make the jump into professional video this is the camera for you and if you are an established veteran you already know the incredible images this camera is capable of, as you can see int he pictures it only has 180 total system hours on it and has been used almost exclusively in a studio enviornment. The reason I am selling this camera along with some other items (see other auctions) is simply because I don’t really use it. I work heavily in post production and rarely shoot anymore. I also work in-house with several studios that have all the equipment I will ever need for shooting on the rare occassion. There are some light marks where the tripod kick plat attaches which are not visible with a plate attached. The place I had the camera labeled is on the inside of the battery port, you can relabel it there yourself, also it will not be seen if you have a battery installed. There is also a cover that typically goes over the usb ports, it is in a really strange place and so I removed the cover some time ago and didn’t keep it. You could purchase one cheaply or most likely you will find it convenient to just not have it in the way as I did. As you can see there is also room in this case for an custom matte box should you choose to purchase one or have one in hand already. This lens is in mint- condition,all glass is perfectly clear with no fungus, haze, fog, scratches, chips or internal dust. Everything works properly! The front lens hood rubber ring has one slight chip and the metal lens hood has a slight smudge in the finish – hard to see in photographs. Otherwise, the lens is in pristine condition with no brassing, dings, dents, etc, this auction includes the following: Nikon hard case with key, front leather Nikon lens cover, rear Nikon lens cap, Nikon 39mm L37c filter & extra mount, lens strap & case strap, lens brochure, they all in new condition, never use. There is one problem with the lens hood, the wash on the tighten screw is broken, I got the new wash, but needs some skill to fix it, the new wash will be include and it needs fix.
