Up for bid is a used Sony DFS-700 SDI video switcher with control console. The switcher is in excellent condition and has been gone thru to insure good working order. The switcher includes the standard IPM-96 input processor board, the VIF-20 digital analog input board, the VSW-69 video processor board, the OPM-39 output processor board as well as the optional DKDF-701 serial digital analog component input board. Also included with the switcher are two 10ft 25 pin interconnect cables to connect the switcher to the console. Seven 1ft 3BNC connect cables and three 25pin to XLR adapters. The entire system is in like new condition and has been well maintained. There are no blemishes, scratches, dings or other damage of any kind — it is immaculate and it functions as new. This machine was used lightly by a professional freelancer who has recently retired. The PDW-F355L XDCAM HD Camcorder features MPEG HD and DVCAM switchable recording with three 1/2-inch HD CCDs. It is capable of recording 1080 video lines of multiple frame rates at a high bit rate of up to 35 Mbps. It also provides four channels of high-quality uncompressed audio. This allows an SD to HD migration path to a complete HD-based environment. The PDW-F355L provides excellent picture quality, adapting Power HAD HD CCDs (1440×1080). It offers HD recording in 1080/59.94i, 50i, 29.97P, 25P and native 23.98P and the operator can also select the desired bit rate to record it, either 35 Mbps, 25 Mbps and 18 Mbps depending on the desired picture quality and recording length. Being a dual format camcorder, it can also record in DVCAM mode at 25 Mbps. Sony PDW-F70 XDCam HD CineAlta Professional Blu-Ray Disc Recorder — This XDCAM HD recorder is in “as new” condition with very low hours. There are no blemishes, scratches, dings or other damage of any kind — it is immaculate and it functions as new. This machine was used lightly by a professional freelancer who has recently retired. He has asked me to liquidate several items for him. This machine is immaculate, so it was obviously well cared for. The machine was purchased from Sony as B Stock by the owner for $12,750. (It was used for 40 hours as a demo unit by SONY during NAB). The machine currently shows just 50 hours of use . Sony PDW-F70 The Sony PDW-F70 recording deck, features MPEG HD recording with DVCAM material playback compatibility. It is capable of recording 1080 video lines of multiple frame rates at a high bit rate of up to 35 Mbps on Professional Disc media. It also provides four channels of high quality uncompressed audio. The Sony PDW-F70 deck records and plays Professional Blu-Ray Discs with HD material at 1080/59.94i, 50i, 29.97P, 25P and native 23.98P using the “MPEG HD” code that uses the industry standard MPEG-2 MP@HL compression. And for high quality sound, four channel, 16 bit, 48 kHz uncompressed audio is used. The deck also can down-convert MPEG HD material to DV signals and output via the i.LINK interface. The PDW-F70 can also feature built-in Up/Down-conversion; to up-convert DVCAM material to HD signals and output via HD-SDI or HD analog component connection as well as to down-conver MPEG HD material to SD SDI or composite connection. It supports Jog/Variable operation with +/- 1 times normal speed and Shuttle with +/- 20 times normal speed even adopting MPEG Long GOP. In the thumbnail operation, the Expand function displays x12 further detail thumbnails around a scene, which the operator wants to see in the clip, on top of Scene Selection, commonly known as in-deck cuts-only editing capability. Also i.LINK interface supports File Access Mode (for input and output) and DV OUTPUT. Optional Gigabit Ethernet supports network-based file transfer. An optional board also allows input and output of 25 Mbps MPEG TS (Transport Stream) for easy integration with HDV equipment and non-linear editors.
