This is a pre “6-bit” coding lens so your M8-M9 will not recognize the lens format, but if sent in to Leica they will happily upgrade the lens for a fee. Also excellent for quick snapshots when you want to take pictures inconspicuously from a distance. Its high speed permits relatively fast shutter speeds that prevent blurred images caused by camera shake. With Aspherical lens elements and Apochromatic correction, this lens sets a new standards in the catagory of short telephoto lenses. The lens also features a built-in sliding lens hood. The terms described in this document form part of a legally binding contract if you are the winning bidder. Please do not bid unless you are absolutely, 100%, totally and completely happy with the following terms and conditions. By bidding you are agreeing to ALL terms laid out in this document. Bidding is defined as any of the following actions: Placing a bid on an auction style item, using the Buy-It-Now option on both auction and fixed price listings, and all purchases made through the K&M Camera eBay store. Non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay if payment is not received within 10 days of auction end. 3. We do not have facilities for, and therefore can not offer, demonstrations, viewing, or pickup of items. Because of legal, insurance, zoning and liability issues this is just not possible. 4. RETURNS Returns will only be accepted if the buyer has contacted us first and the return has been authorized. Items being returned should be sent by a trackable method (any UPS service or USPS Express Mail) and insured (as they are sent at the risk of the sender), in the same condition as they left our premises, complete with ALL ORIGINAL packing materials (including cellophane instrument wraps and cardboard boxes, if any) and accessories, with no marks. We will deduct a 10% restocking fee (minimum of $5.00) if the instrument is not returned as specified. Returns after seven days will not be possible unless there is an existing warranty. We are unable to refund shipping, insurance or warranty costs. To request an RMA number please contact us at ebayorders@kmcamera.com In the event an item arrives visibly damaged, please notify us within 48hrs so that we may resolve the problem quickly. All approved refunds will be returned by the original payment method. 5. WARRANTY A. USED ITEMS are sold as is. We check every instrument to the best of our ability before listing and shipping. All auctions are given a 7 day window from time of delivery for testing. In the event there is a material difference between what was stated in the auction and the buyer’s results, we will happily accept returns for a full refund. This does not apply to fine adjustments, tunings or regular maintenance that might be required or needed. B. NEW ITEMS are sold with original manufacturers warranty and are subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the manufacturer as described by their warranty. We guarantee that the item will live up to its description, and if, in the opinion of the purchaser, it does not then we will offer a refund of the purchase price (less shipping and insurance). The purchaser must notify us by email within seven days of receipt of the goods to qualify for a refund. The item must be returned in accordance with the returns section above. C. EXTENDED Warranties are available. Please inquire before purchase to find out if the item you are interested in qualifies for above mentioned warranty. We offer buyers two choices when it comes to shipping, USPS and UPS. UPS is our preferred method of shipment due to their reliability and superior tracking system. We offer the full line of their services, including international when requested. As part of our normal service we usually ship items the same day that orders are received, however sometimes this is not possible. In some cases there can be a delay of up to 3 days, in which case we will email you to make you aware of the situation.
