Title LEICA LEITZ IIIG BLACK PAINT SWEDISH ARMY + MATCHING 50MM F2.8 ELMAR 3 CROWNS NO RESERVE AUCTION Brand Name LEICA Type M7 Serial Number 987992 Condition B- Description Offered on commission sale is a fully original Leica IIIG black paint with matching 50mm Elmar lens. Camera was made for the Swedish Army and both the lens and the camera are engraved with the triple crown insignia. In total 125 cameras were made by Leica for the Swedish Army. As said a fully original one. Not re-painted or whatsoever. As you can see from the pictures the paint looks worn on the edges but this is quite normal for black paint cameras of this age. Besides the paint wear the base plate shows 3 pin head marks and the top plate shows a impression above the large window. Probably the last can be (partly) removed but I’ll leave this for the next owner as I like it this way. Technically the camera is in perfect working condition. The finder is bright and clear. Speeding times are accurate. Comes as said with a 50mm f2.8 Elmar which shows the triple crown insignia as well. Elements are not perfectly clean as some fungus is visible. I’m sure (part) of it can be cleaned but again also this is up to the next owner. As said fully original and maybe one of the rarest Leica cameras. Great change to add this into your collection. Offered is a my Black M6 Leica rangefinder that is “like new”. This LEICA M6 comes with both a super fast 50mm SUMMILUX 1.4 lens,a UV filter an the appropriate Leitz Shade. ALSO included is a 28mm 2.8 Elmarit-M lens, a UV filter with the Leitz factory shade that is “ported” in order to frame subjects without views being obstructed. This LEICA M6 Rangefinder was used personally. It was extremely cared for and shows absolutely no flaws in the view finder, meter or the lenes. However there is a very slight amount of paint worn off a small section of the focusing ring on both lens due to normal use. The M6 body is made in German #1758459 the 50mm SUMMILUX 1.4 is also German #3445663 the 28mm ELMARIT-M was produced in Canada #3439396 This is a package sale. Up for a bid is my Pentax K20D. I have rarely used this camera since I bought it, brand new. Camera is for all purposes new. Shutter actuation count is 584, about 200-250 were from factory testing. Camera body is as brand new, no scratches, mars or marks. LCD screen is clear and mar free. Again, this camera is as new.
