First model with combined view/rangefinder eyepiece. Introduced in 1938. Shutter works well at all speeds. Rangefinder is accurate but hazy, viewfinder is good - but could use a cleaning. Metalwork has some scratches and marks, but it's hard to find a wartime Leica that looks perfect. Lens is early model coated Summitar. Has rounded aperture blades. Makes for good Bokeh. Lens has dust and very light haze. Would not stop it from making good photos. No scratches or fungus. Blades look clean and without loose oil on them. Overall, a good camera for your first Leica, or for a street camera you don't have to worry about scratching. Thanks!

Camera is in good working order with no known problems, never damaged, no scratches on LCD screens, no missing pixels on screens, no water damage, and sensor is free of dust (was cleaned by Nikon's official service center, receipt included in package). The only significant sign of wear is on front of the body near the battery (see close up in the last shot, finish slightly burnished in small spot as a result of camera resting against my body while I used Black Rapid camera strap (not included)), but otherwise in good shape. I love this camera, but have too much gear and I just need to scale back. You'll really enjoy it.

This is really a brand new camera. I have one on order from a local shop and when on a business trip, I happen to be in a camera shop when a shipment arrived. I bought it on the spot because they are nowhere to be found. I took it out of the box snapped about 16-20 shots with it because I just couldn't resist.
