You are bidding on TWO Sony HVR-V1U 1080i camcorders with extras. These camcorders are PRO-CONSUMER quality 3CCD CMOS digital video technology that use the MiniDV tapes. I purchased my first Sony HVR-V1U to video tape dance recitals. I was so happy with the HD output that I purchased a second one along with a battery-operated lamp and some extra batteries. This auction includes the list of items below. The set contains everything you need to start a serious video hobby or even a small video business. The items marked with * are not included in the original box but they are included in this auction. The reason I am selling this package is that I have a lot of money tied up in this equipment and I want to buy a Canon 1D Mark IV camera. I do a lot more photography than video these days and it does not make sense to keep all of this video equipment on hand. The cameras are in very good condition with only slight marks on the bottom body from using a tripod. There are two things to mention about this auction - one of the microphone socks is missing as you can see in the photo, and the IEEE 1394 firewire connection on one of the cameras does not seem to work on my new HP laptop and Adobe CS4 - one camera uploads tapes fine and the other does not. Otherwise the cameras are both in great condition and produce excellent video output. I am pricing this set to move so I can raise cash for my 1D. Thank you in advance for bidding.
