At auction is an Exakta 66 camera made by Ihagee Kamerawerk of Germany between 1953 and 1954. This is a medium format single-lens-reflex (SLR) camera that produces 6 X 6cm pictures on 120 film. The camera can take interchangeable film backs and interchangeable lenses that have the Exakta 66 bayonet mount. Only about 2500 of these cameras were made. The camera I am selling will come with three lenses: an 80mm f/2.8 Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar T, a 135mm f/3.5 Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Primotar V, and a 180mm f/3.5 Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Primotar V. The following accessories are also included: an extra Exakta 66 120 film back and a Novoflex bellows that has the Exakta 66 mounts on it. All of the lenses are coated and use the pre-set method of quick aperture setting. The lenses are clean and clear with no scratches, fungus or haze. However, one can find a few very minor dust specks inside. The aperture controls of all of the lenses work smoothly and easily. The diaphragm blades of all of the lenses are free of oil, grease and rust. the focus control of all of the lenses is smooth and easy. The camera has a focal-plane shutter with speeds 12 sec to 1/1000 sec. The shutter works well but the shutter speeds have not been tested by a technician. The camera's viewfinder is bright and clean. and the focus hood opens and closes easily. Both film backs for this camera work well. The bellows functions well mechanically and the bellows fabric is free of tears, holes, light-leaks, and mis-folds. The camera and all that comes with it is in excellent cosmetic condition with only minor signs of use and age. The tow telephopto lenses come with the original lens hoods and original front caps. The 80mm lens comes with a generic lens cap. I am also including a user's manual (with pictures) that I created myself. The manual is very useful as it is a complex camera. It is not likely that you will find another Exakta 66 system as complete as the one I am selling. It is a rarity and a collector's dream. Check out my other eBay auctions. My next two auction listings will be for the 200mm telephoto lens and the 50mm wide-angle lens that can be used with this camera. Due to eBay rules that no longer permit optional or required insurance, I have the following policy concerning shipping insurance. All items sold will be shipped without insurance. All items shipped will have tracking numbers as proof to the buyers and to eBay that the item was shipped. The flat rate for shipping within USA is $21.00. If shipping outside the USA, the shipping will be higher and the winning bidder will be informed of the shipping rate after the end of the auction or upon request before the end of the auction. Pentax-A* 300mm f2.8 ED(IF) w/case This auction is for a SMC Pentax-A* 300mm f2.8 ED(IF) lens with 1.7x AF Adapter. Once 'rough' focus is achieved manually, the 1.7x AF Adapter locks in final focus, in addition to increasing focal length to 510mm. Both lens and adapter are working properly. Lens shows moderate wear on barrel, with paint loss and light scratches in white finish. No dents, dings or similar signs of abuse. Focusing and aperture control still smooth and clean. Aperture blades are clean with no oil residue. Glass is free of scratches, fungus or hazing. Some dust specks found on interior elements, but given the age and use of the lens nothing deemed excessive. Pentax-F 1.7x AF Adapter is in similar condition, with light marks on body, but clean glass and responsive focusing.
