NIKON 300 2.8 AF-S VR Telephoto Lens (NEW) New and unused. This is the “VR” version. I purchased this lens 01 Dec 2007 and have not had the chance or time to even mount it on my camera. I am just too busy with work, school, and athletics. I am selling most of my equipment, as it is either new, unused, or little used, and I don’t have the time for photography. This is a USA lens that I purchased from a licensed and authorized Nikon dealer. It is NOT grey market. The white rectangles on the glass in images 3, 7 and 8 are reflections from the camera flash. This auction includes everything as original and packed as original. It will be double boxed and sent UPS ground and insured. Please keep in mind UPS charges me $1.0125 per $100 of insurance, and a fuel surcharge. Please view my feedback. NOTE1: I mailed-in the 1 Year + 4 Year ESC card upon purchase of this lens. Nikon warranties are non-transferable. I am including the 1 Year + 4 Year ESC card shown in image #10. I am “not” specifying anything other than this card is being included. If you are the winning bidder, you may research options regarding this card, throw it away, frame it, use it as a book marker, it’s up to you. I am simply providing full disclosure. I have had multiple inquiries stating this lens can be purchased new or like new for less than $4,000. If so, I highly recommend buying such a lens. Even though this lens is AF-S, it is also “VR”. This is the same USA lens that can be found at B&H Photo for $5,299.On Jan-18-10 at 14:47:31 PST, seller added the following information: NANO CRYSTAL Yes, this lens incorporates Nikon’s Nano Crystal technology. Please see the “N” on the gold plate in image 3. The “N” symbol indicates Nano Crystal. You may also research this yourself, or inquire with Nikon USA, or any other licensed/authorized Nikon dealer. All previous versions of the Nikon 300/2.8 do “not” include Nikon’s Nano Crystal technology. Thank-you for the question.
