Brand new in box. Highly collectible. Only one hundred of these extremely limited edition Korejanai Robot Model versions of the smc PENTAX K-x DSLR camera were sold (notice serial number in picture of bottom). This 12.4 Meg DSLR camera comes with matching 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL lens. A friend in Japan purchased this camera for me. All of these limited edition cameras were sold out in minutes when offered by Pentax at their Japanese website last November. Both body and lens of this well reviewed DSLR are identical to their standard counterparts with the exception of the body panel coloring / markings. Created by famed Japanese novelty designer ZariganiWorks, the company behind such whimsical items as the 'self destruct button' USB hub, Korejanai is an extremely colorful robot character that's apparently developed a strong following in Japan. The Pentax K-x Korejanai follows the robot's eclectic color scheme, as well as other design cues including markings around the camera's popup flash and prism assembly that mimic those on Korejanai's face and chest. This camera is BRAND NEW with english instruction manual and DVD and was only taken out of box to photograph and test that it worked properly (notice recent date on newspaper in background). I purchased a tripod that matches it which is included in the box. Also includes Korejanai robot that came with camera. Supposedly came with international warranty but I am uncertain if warranty is transferrable. Unless you live in Japan the odds of you running into someone with this one-of-a-kind DSLR camera are less than of winning the powerball lottery!!
