Hi, you are bidding on a gently used Canon XL-H1 3-CCD native 16:9 high def 1080i camcorder with 20x HD video zoom lens, SMPTE TC, Genlock, FireWire and HD/SD-SDI Output. Camera is priced low with no reserve. Also offering the camera locally so i must reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. Feel free to email with questions or for more pictures. Thanks, below are more details on the camera: As Canon's first high-definition video camera, the XL-H1 camcorder and 20x HD video zoom lens with superior Canon optics provide professional level shooters with a low-cost 1080i resolution option for ENG, documentary and reality TV production. Filmmakers will also appreciate the extensive cine' controls and 24 frame option the XL-H1 camcorder offers. The camera offers uncompressed HD-SDI and SD-SDI output for seamless integration into broadcast studios or high quality image transfer to non-linear editing systems. The Genlock feature allows studios to easily synchronize camera settings across multiple camcorders. Real SMPTE time code input and output allow for streamlined tape and edit management. This camera is fully capable of recording in standard definition DV format as well.HDTV ResolutionThe XL-H1 camcorder has three 1/3 inch 16:9 interlaced CCDs that capture images at 1080i resolution. The camcorder features selectable frame rates of 60i, 30 Frame and 24 Frame to allow the user to adjust to the assignment at hand and can switch back to SD resolution if needed. At the 30 Frame rate, broadcasters can capture fast motion like sports with confidence that each frame is captured individually and completely. Filmmakers can utilize the 24 Frame rate when creating the look and feel of movie film. The 60i frame rate, meanwhile, delivers exceptional resolution for shooting environments like ENG or Reality TV. The XL-H1 HD camcorder is the first model to include Canon's proprietary DIGIC DV II image processor. DIGIC DV II is an image processor that can process both HD and SD video signals as well as still photos, while maintaining the correct color space for each mode.Uncompressed HD-SDI and SD-SDIThe XL-H1 camcorder has all the connectors that professionals have been missing in other low-cost HDTV camcorders. For the ultimate in video transfers this camera has uncompressed HD-SDI and SD-SDI connectors. The serial digital BNC connectors can transfer both HD and standard definition signals.Time CodeThe XL-H1 camera is equipped with true SMPTE time code input and output. Time code from the camcorder can be sent to other recording devices (cameras, VTRs) so they are all recording with the same clock.Genlock SynchronizationMulti-camera shoots with the XL-H1 is no problem since the camcorder has Genlock sync. This feature allows many devices including cameras, VTRs and switchers to synchronize.Canon 20x HD Video LensThe Canon XL-H1 features Canon's XL-interchangeable lens mount. For the XL-H1 camcorder Canon builds a 20x high definition video zoom lens. It incorporates multiple Fluorite glass elements for superior color, contrast, resolution and reduction of chromatic aberrations. It is a fast lens with maximum aperture f/1.6 to f/3.5 depending on focal length. At its widest angle the lens is capable of close focusing down to 20mm or about 0.8 inches.Viewfinder and LCD MonitorThe XL-H1 comes with a multi-functional color viewfinder and a 2.4 inch diagonal LCD monitor with safe-zone frame-lines built in. There is a black and white mode, selectable zebra exposure mode, horizontal and vertical flip feature and a distance readout (with the 20x HD lens). As menu options the user can select safe-zone frame-lines for the following aspect ratios: 4:3, 13:9, 14:9, 1.66:1, 1.75:1, 1.85:1 and 2.35:1Focus Assist Help FeatureThe camcorder has a feature called Focus Help that uses prompts in the viewfinder to aid fast focusing. The PEAKING setting puts an exaggerated line on the viewfinder image that disappears when focus is achieved. The MAGNIFYING setting enlarges the viewfinder image which should help the operator better judge fine focusing.Optical Stabilization FeatureCanon calls its image stabilizer Super-Range Optical Image Stabilization and it helps defeat camera shake from hand held shooting and even shake produced from a moving vehicle. Because it is an optical function it can compensate for a greater degree of camera shake and avoids any loss in image quality unlike electronic or digital stabilizing methods.

Sony PDW 1500 XDCAM MPEG IMX/DVC Deck

Click here to see the auction. Currently $3200.00.

For your consideration is a Sony PDW-1500. As you can see this machine has been well taken care of and basically spent most of it’s time just sitting and idling. I haven't used this deck at all in two years as it was just here to have "somthing" in the format just in case. We now use the computer drive so we don't need this machine and it should be producing beautiful video somewhere. Notice there are only 750 hours of actual use however the hours don’t matter much where the XDCAM format is concerned as the is no physical contact between the laser and the disk. The PDW-1500 is a half-rack sized recorder optimized for use with non linear editing systems. Despite its compact size, this deck offers high-speed data transfer between compatible nonlinear devices, creating a powerful editing tool for video productions at any level. It features MPEG IMX/DVCAM switchable recording, DVCAM compression recording at 25Mbps up to around 85 min on at 23 Gb disk, MPEG IMX compression recording at 30Mbps for up to 68 min, 40Mbps to 55 min and 50Mbps for up to 45 min again all on a “blue” 23 Gb disk. Also recorded are proxy AV and variety of metadata which may be created and stored on the disc. Two optical heads allows transfer speed of 5x (normal speed) for DVCAM file and 2.5x for MPEG IMX (@50Mbps) file as well as up to 50x for proxy AV file. Equipped with a selection of AV interfaces (SDI, Composite with RS-422A) as well as i-LINK File access mode and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. As with other PDW series products, it offers a thumbnail search operation and scene selection operation, also supports stream conversion from MPEG IMX to DVCAM. The output DVCAM streams over i-LINK, which allows recording while maintaining high picture quality using MPEG for on-line quality processing edit, scripting/logging work with DV infrastructure. The Sony XDCAM series of Optical Disc products have a 7 year "powertrain" warranty for its laser block. This "powertrain" warranty is unprecedented for Sony and demonstrates the confidence Sony has in its professional XDCAM products. Sony PDW1500 XDCAM Features: MPEG IMX/DVCAM recording Two optical heads allowing transfer speeds of 5x for DVCAM and 2.5x for MPEG IMX (@50Mbps) High-speed of transfer of proxy AV file at up to 50-times speed Proxy AV data recording Metadata recording A variety of interfaces Thumbnail search operation Scene selection operation Search speed (in color): JOG: -1 to +2 times normal speed / Shuttle: +/-50 times normal speed Voice-over recording Gigabit Ethernet connectivity DVCAM stream output from MPEG IMX playback Mass: 7.4 kg (16lb 5oz) 7 years "Powertrain" Warranty for XDCAM laser block Interface between FTP network via RJ-45 connector & IP conductivity USB for high speed transfer to a non linear editor or cloning (at 2.5X real time) Interface via USB or iLink for Sony Proxy software Included with the sale are: The deck, a US power cord, a custom configured CD that contains the PDF version of the operations manual, Sony Proxy software, Sony browsing software and incidental Sony collateral information that may help you with promotion or resale value! For those of you who might ask, I will ship internationally… I just don't like to because honestly it is not easy & is a lot of extra crazy paperwork. However if you do a BIN (Buy It Now) and are willing to pay all shipping cost, taxes, tariffs, fees, assessments, liens, customs costs as well as the original cost of domestic shipping, I will be pleased to ship to you. Please note, I tell the truth on all documents as it is a U.S. Federal crime not to. Please use the USPS’s international shipping ESTIMATOR for shipment from NY/NJ to your location for a 30.5 Pound shipment. I am unable to give quotes on shipping costs during the auction. If you win the auction (with a BIN) I will send you a PayPal invoice for the amount of international shipping after you pay the inital (first) auction invoice immediately. Thank you for your understanding.

Sony HVR V1U HDV Camcorder with 3 Year Factory Warranty

Click here to see the auction. Currently $3550.00.

I purchased this camera brand new from B&H Photo over the past year. Condition is like new with very low hours on it. No damage, scratches, flaws. I purchased a 3 year warranty from Sony so no surprises as to its operation. Comes in its original box with all the accessories that it came with. This is a great camera. The Sony HVR-V1U is an HDV camcorder designed specifically to incorporate many of the features only afforded previously to Sony's high-end digital cinema cameras. The V1U utilizes a sophisticated pulldown system, giving shooters 24p capability for creating film-like video. With 24p, users can mimic the shutter of film which is often sought after for commercials and dramatic productions. Equally important, Sony's 2:3 pulldown technique records into standard 60i streams, so no additional gear is required. All your existing Sony HDV equipment will play 24p without a hitch! It couldn't be easier. The camera also features 3CMOS ClearVid sensor technology. These CMOS sensors create sharp, rich images with natural color reproduction sure to please even the most scrutinizing eye. These features combined with a high-end Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T Lens, makes the HVR-V1U a welcome addition to the already proven line of Sony professional HDV products.High Definition on MiniDV Tapes with HDVThe HDV format, used in the HVR-V1U allows high definition recording on standard MiniDV tapes. This is accomplished by using the very popular MPEG-2 compression technique used in many applications, including DVDs and satellite television.24p CapabilityIn 24p mode, images from the CMOS can be 2:3 pulldown-converted and recorded onto tape in the standard 60i HDV format. The tape can then be played back or edited using an ordinary HDV system. True 24p editing can be achieved by uploading 2:3 pulldown-converted images via an i.LINK FireWire interface to a compatible non-linear editing system. The resultant images resemble the visual motion of film!ClearVID 3CMOS TechnologySony's ClearVID sensors are positioned at a 45° angle. Since each pixel is positioned at this angle the result is far clearer diagonal lines. Images will appear crisper, without the apparent "jaggies" that often plague video signals.HDMI OutputMany consumer products are adopting High Definition Media Interface (HDMI) connections for transmitting uncompressed digital HD video signals. Sony has upped the ante by incorporating this into the already extensive array of video output choices on the HVR-V1U. Connect the camera to any HDTV via this interface and view all your footage the way it was meant to be seen: purely digital!

Sony PMW EX1 XDCAM High Definition Video Camcorder

Click here to see the auction. Currently $5000.00.

Up for auction is this excellent condition Sony PMW-EX1 XDCAM camera which shoots true HD - no HDV here! The quality of this picture is stupendous! As you can see from the photos, the camera has only been used for 17 hours - we shot three 3-camera classical music concerts with this particular camera. It originally came with an 8GB SxS Sony card, which we have upgraded to a 16gb card, good for 57 minutes of true HD shooting. The camera holds two cards, and the switch-over is automatic from card A to card B - this yields almost two hours of continuous shooting, and the system drops no frames in the process. We are also including an extra large BP-U60 battery, which will power the camera for around 7-8 hours. This battery alone is $267.00, and the 16gb card is $529.95 from B&H Photo - Very significant extras! Special XDCAM capture software is available from the Sony web site, using the included USB cable into your computer and into your non-linear editing system.
