This system was purchased in October 2007 from B&H. It has only 61 hours on it and has been used only in benign environments. It comes with all the original accessories and will be shipped in the original packaging. I’m selling because I’m upgrading to my Sony PDW-F350. In addition to the Sony accessories I’m including some extras: a separate printed copy of the user manual along with laminated checklists used to setup the camera. This camera comes with a Fujinon Super-Wide TV Zoom Lens model: XS13×3.3BRM-M38 and Electronic Viewfinder model: DXF-20W w/ microphone. PLEASE READ: This camera was submerged in water. This camera was sent out to a professional camera shop for inspection. The repair company put a spare optical unit in and the camera powered up and showed video on the view finder. They reported that the optical unit will most likely need to be replaced. No other testing was done. The following problems were found. The optical unit has a few small spots of corrosion on the little motor and on some of the other components inside (screws, casing). The shop said that the lens appears to have fog inside. The zoom controls need to be opened, cleaned, and tested. There is also some water damage to the MB-1028 board inside, however the repair person said that the board appeared to function correctly. There are no scratches on the lens. This camera is being sold AS IS, Untested for parts or repair. This comes exactly as shown. No battery or charger is included. I cannot test this camera myself because I do not have a battery or charger. PAYMENT: Bank wire or US Certified funds only. No Paypal. No credit cards accepted. Up for auction is my beautiful Sony PDW-F350 XDCAM HD Camcorder with the Fujinon HSS 18×5.5BRD 1/2″ HD lens. I purchased this new about three years ago, and as you can see from its condition and low hours (only 372 hours from new) it is excellent physical and operational condition. The type of production I’m currently doing does not warrant keeping it, and it has received very little use the past months. As you probably know, the Fujinon lens is one of the better 1/2″ lenses available for the PDW series, and it can produce fantastic images. There are no bad pixels, lens, glass, body viewfinder – all is in excellent condition. If you are looking at this ad, you are probably familiar with the F350, and XDCAM HD as a rock solid acquisition format. The list cost for this was just under $40K when I purchased…now you can enjoy the depreciation and purchase for less than 1/3 of the original msrp. There are many thousands of hours of usage left on it — again, sadly it just does not suit my production needs, so it’s time to sell. Happy to answer your questions.
