Hello and welcome to this no reserve auction. I am parting with my most treasured Nikon 200-400mm VR Zoom lens. I have used this magnificent lens on one short trip to the Canadian Rockies with exceptional results (see last photo). The lens is in pristine, "LIKE NEW," condition. Everything looks and performs flawlessly. The only reason I am selling is because I need more focal length to shoot distant wildlife. Otherwise I would never, ever part with it. I wish I could afford both but I can't. I purchased this lens from B&H in April of 2009...last year. This is a USA model with a 5 year warranty. The serial number is L307296. It has been stored with dessicant in a room with a dehumidifier, in a non-smoking household. This lens is very easy to use and light weight compared to other fixed focal length telephotos. I will miss the Zoom function so essential in framing your shot. The auction includes every accessory that came with my orginal purchase including the box, packaging materials, warranty papers, manual, the newest lens case, front and rear lens cover and cap, the NC clear filter with holder, filter case, shoulder strap, and finally the HK-30 reversible lens hood. In addition I am including an Arca-Swiss style replacement foot from Really Right Stuff and a great Don Zeck lens cap (a $150 Value). The only problem with any of this stuff is that I have highlighted the owners manual in yellow while I studied it. And have used scotch tape (which can be removed) to allow only English instructions to be read. Sorry! This is an expensive lens, so please only serious buyers who intend to immediately pay via Pay Pal once the auction ends, should bid. Please no international bidders. I will only ship to a confirmed USA address...NO EXCEPTIONS! I will ship this lens via UPS Ground...Insured, as soon as payment is received.
