Leica MP 0.85 Silver Edition Camera (2003) The development of the LEICA MP 0.85 incorporates over 50 years of experience. It is the quintessential mechanical rangefinder camera. It's a superb photographic tool for anyone from professional photographic artists to keen amateurs. This model was hand-built in Germany in 2003 and designed to last a lifetime. At a basic level it is easy to use and naturally intuitive, but further up every tiny detail can be altered to create the ultimate shot. The entire camera is mechanically operated, the only battery needed is for exposure measuring: two 1.5 volt Silver oxide batteries or one 3 volt DL 1/3 N lithium battery (further details included in instructions). The body of the camera is robust and all the controls are tough metal: it would be very difficult for it to be damaged through impact. The camera also *Comes with compatable Leica f/2 50mm Summicron-M Chrome Lens (with original lens cover and padded case). *Includes an original black leather case and strap. *Will work with any Leica M system lens from 21-135mm. *Includes original instructions, five-year waranty card, test certificate and Leica passport. *Was recently valued (including extras) at $3100. *Has no visible scuffs, marks or signs of damage. *Is in perfect working condition.
