Leica M4 Black Enamel, Leitz Canada Summicron f2 35mm, Leica Meter MR & Leica Lens Hood You are bidding on my personal M4 Camera System. This is a No Reserve Auction and is a rare opportunity to acquire one of these gems. I purchased this camera in 1973 from a friend who had just returned from Vietnam and needed the cash. I am pretty sure he purchased the camera in late 1969 or early 1970 as he said he had the camera for 3 years. This was my primary camera for 3 decades. She has been to the US Leica Service Center twice for cleaning and calibration. Lens is clean, no fungus or coating issues. Body is mechanically sound. All shutter speeds appear to be working accurately. I have not used the meter in some time and the PX-13 battery appears to have been discontinued. It was working fine the last time I used it. I have this and several other cameras I inherited from my Late Grandfather Captain John B, Fitzpartick. Among them is a Chrome Nikon Nippon Kogaku SP with a Titanium shutter S/N: 6215550 This camera is in perfect working order, but it has been fairly used. He bought nothing but the best and maintained his stuff. Photography was one of his passions, He was Captain of the then largest drill ship in the world for Standard Oil Corp, He sailed around the world many times and took many photos with this camera. Later as a Captain of a cable ship for PanAm, he recovered film canisters ejected from the Corona Spy Satellite (the worlds first spy satellite), and this camera was there to capture those images. This Nikon was actually purchased in Japan where he met and was married to my grandmother. Before he passed, he wrote a book that detailed his vast life on the sea, it will be published in the future when the editing is complete. I hope to sell this to someone that will appreciate it as much as he did. All of the items are a little dusty from storage and could use a cleaning.I ship Priority Mail.International shipping available.God Bless and Happy Bidding! On Feb-19-10 at 12:33:16 PST, seller added the following information: I would also like to add; I am not a camera collector, I do not know much about vintage cameras, all I know is the cameras history and a little about what I have here from what people have told me. I would like to make a correction the 5cm lens does have some small marks on the front of the housing from use. All other representations are accurate from what I have seen. All of the items may need to be dusted/cleaned. I have not done any of that as I am not a professional and I do not know about the proper care of these items. When I total up what the camera and lenses have been selling for in the same condition from what I have been told, I come up to $4,500. Then you have all the peripherals. The Hoya Lenses and skylight have been going for at least 39 a piece on here. If anyone has any questions, or needs more photos, please feel free to message me any time!

This auction is for a good condition Minolta 600mm f/4 AF High Speed APO lens. Serial number is 12101006. Included with the lens are: Minolta front 154.5mm clear filter.Minolta front lens cover and rear lens cap.Drop-in filter holder with clear filter.Filter case with 5 filters – R60, O56, Y52, 1B (skylight), ND4.The trunk case with keys which is in overall good condition. It does have some minor dents and scratches on the outside and some of the rivets are a little rusty. The interior is pretty much perfect.Original manual.Lens strap.Case strap. I cannot see any marks, scratches, haze or fungus on any of the glass. Both manual and AF work as they should and the aperture blades are clean and oil free. The lens mount is in good condition with just a few usage marks which should be visible in the photograph. There is an area on the lens barrel about an inch and a half long by about half an inch wide where the paint has rubbed off. I had the lens on a shoulder strap and walked about a mile not realizing that it was rubbing on the buckle of my jacket. The lens was not banged or dropped. There are a couple of other very small marks and a couple of paint chips on some of the edges. The tripod foot is clean but it has lost its insert and the marks you can see on the sides are from the glue. The lens hood moves smoothly and locks in place. I am limited to 12 images of this lens. Please send me your email address if you want more specific/detailed photographs of any area of the lens or accessories. I am also selling a Minolta 2x tele-converter. Payment within 7 days please. Contact me before you bid if you need longer to pay. A delivery confirmation signature will also be required. Please contact me within 7 days of receipt of the lens should you want to return it. Refund will be through PayPal and will not include shipping. You will be responsible for return shipping and insurance.
